WE BELIEVE.

We believe that it all starts with an idea, followed by strategy, action and collaboration. Just like you, current events changed our personal and professional world as well. Around the World Locals / Around the World in Winnipeg was conceptualized several years ago. We officially launched in February 2020 to showcase local sights, sounds, and flavours in and around our beautiful city.

We are committed to create awareness of the hidden and unique local business gems and share a glimpse of their story. We intend to use our social platforms to make a difference in our community and to do our part to keep the cycle of support going for our local businesses.

We formed initiatives like the Bite Back Winnipeg: Food Truck Edition, Bite Back Winnipeg: Global Flavours Edition, Bite Back Winnipeg: A Community event (postponed at the advice of Public Health), and the month-long #bitebacklocalchallenge to help push the message of buying local during the holiday season. Our Team raised over $10,000 in prizes in less than a month, donated by our local business network. Our latest initiatives: StrEAT FEAST FESTIVAL AT THE FORKS CN STAGE & FIELD - Manitoba’s largest celebration of food, culture and community! Tyndall Community Market (TCM) in collaboration with Tyndall Park Community Centre. TCM takes place from spring to fall featuring local vendors, food trucks and more! CreatThurs Night - this is an opportunity for businesses, creatives, interested individuals, and community stakeholders to meet, learn about opportunities, and exchange ideas in a diverse, casual, safe and supportive space! Meet up on the first Thursday night of the month! Building community & meaningful connections!  Refreshments always provided.
